Drilling Stool

Furniture Design Drilling Stool by Christian Kim DRILLING is a three-legged stool, which is composed of three identical aluminium parts. The multiple use of the same parts creates an advantage within the production process on the one hand and a formal neatness and simplicity on the other. The three parts of the stool are connected alongside their respective outward facing surfaces. By doubling the material along the legs DRILLING gains its stability and rigidity. The seat which is formed by joining the three parts has a recess at its center, which can be used as a handle for carrying the stool.
