Butterfly Chair

Eduardo Garcia Campos

Furniture Design Butterfly Chair by Eduardo Garcia Campos "Butterfly" is part of an exercise in exploration of metal processes. Inspired by Mexican Monarca Butterflies, which despite to the fragile appearance of its wings, is capable of traveling more than 4000 kilometers from Canada to the state of Michoacan in Mexico. The pure lines resemble a wing shape of a butterfly and its structure is made to create a very confortable, strong and aesthetic piece. Always looking for a perfect balance between function and production feasibility, "Butterfly" makes up pairs of stackable, cast aluminum, indoor-outdoor chairs.
